Meet the Founder
Miranda struggled to find balance when her whole life was turned upside down (we’ve all been there). As a result, her mental and physical health took a toll and she started to suffer from fatigue, hormonal imbalance, and irritating skin conditions. It felt like the dreams she once had were slipping away.
Fighting her way out, she learned the hard way that we all deserve to feel good; that how we feel on the inside will show on the outside. No matter where we are in life, we need to value our own health and happiness first. Her challenges in life became a gift that sparked a new dream. She became passionate about sharing an enjoyable, convenient and effective solution for inner health and beauty after going through her own healing journey.
Grateful for her cross-cultural upbringings, her Eastern roots emphasized incorporating whole foods and natural ingredients into her diet to combat stress, health and skin issues, while her Western doctors prescribed science-driven interventions. Rather than choosing a right way or better form, she found the best approach for our skin and overall health was merging some of her traditional Eastern practices with conventional Western methods.

Letter From Miranda
Hey there, Miranda here! I’m currently writing to you in my favorite corner at home. It’s my safe place, a place where I’ve learned about my limits and learned to love myself. Next time when you’re struggling with something in your life, big or small, I want you to know that you always deserve to feel good. Because for me, feeling good is looking good.
Rōzes Beauty means more to me than just a business that sells Beauty Tōnics, it represents the past hurdles I was able to overcome and the optimism I have for the future. It is my new light of inspiration, motivation, and passion for life.
Up until 5 years ago, my life had been a constant cycle of hellos and goodbyes. Moving between 4 countries taught me to be open-minded about cultures, practices, and lifestyles. I am grateful to have experienced so much of the World.
Rōzes came into my life at a time when I really needed a win. In early 2018, my mental and physical health took a toll as I was struggling to find a career that allowed me to be my authentic self. As a Canadian native, I was limited to only working at companies and in roles that provided international job security (which were non-existent). It stripped me of my identity and passions and provoked a lot of health issues. The idea for Rōzes came to me when I was working with my Traditional Chinese Doctor on re-balancing my own body; it came to me when I was considering uprooting from my life here in Los Angeles.
A few months later, with my health back on track and with an expanded outlook on life and career, I’m finally ready to say that LA is my forever home. I’m surrounded by a community of like-minded individuals who, like me, cherish balance. Balance between inner health and outer beauty, between work and play, and even between stress and relaxation. Balance is hard, especially when you’re put in a position where unexpected events and changes are thrown at you.
The idea for my brand comes from a place of past experience and future exploration. It embodies my identity: my Eastern roots and Western upbringing; the search for balance amidst all that goes on in our lives. All these past experiences have led me to create the Beauty Tōnics. It led me on a journey of discovering not only my needs but the unmet needs of other women. I wanted to bring more emphasis to the holistic approach of beauty, and that beauty comes from the inside out.
Beauty and wellness will always be a big part of my life and I see tremendous value sharing it with you. While I’ve experimented with skincare regimens as well as diets, I soon realized you need aspects of both to achieve a healthy medium. I looked for a ready-to-drink liquid beauty supplement that resembled the types of ingredients used in my treatment course: ones that use both Eastern (natural) and Western (innovative) ingredients. When I couldn't find one, I decided to take matters into my own hands — a true #girlboss moment. And that’s how the first ever ready-to-drink Beauty Tōnic made with the World’s strongest Antioxidant and other skin-loving superfoods was born!
